Joe M. Davidson, Partner, Allen Matkins is also chair of the firm’s corporate
practice group in the Del Mar Heights office. He has extensive experience in
mergers and acquisitions in the representation of emerging technology companies
in such fields as medical devices, healthcare services, computer software,
consumer products, Internet, e-commerce and telecommunications. In addition, he
has represented venture capital firms and underwriters in both public and
private financings. He graduated from the University of Southern California and
received his J.D. degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
Mario Barth is the owner and chief tattoo artist at Starlight Tattoo, which owns four high-end tattoo
studios and the online tattoo supply company, The Tattoo Super Store. Starlight
Tattoo, a multimillion dollar revenue generating company, sells merchandise in
28 countries on six continents. Barth is presently working on the construction
of two more U.S. studios, four European studios and one in Asia. Barth began
his career over 20 years ago as a teenager in Austria. After training for
several years, the Austrian native opened his first tattoo studio in 1989. He
opened three stores before moving to the United States. Barth opened the first
of its kind upscale tattoo studios in Detroit and Miami Beach, before settling
down in New Jersey. In 1999, he opened Starlight Tattoos in Fair Lawn, N.J.
That same year he opened a store in Paterson, N.J., followed by a store in
Belleville, N.J. in 2001 and in Rochelle Park, NJ in 2005.
John Johnson and Anne Marie Smith are the authors of The 60 Minute Strategic Plan which helps businesses
create strategic plans easily and quickly using an innovative one-page process
that has a short learning curve and helps individuals and teams make better
decisions faster. Together they own 60 Minute Strategic Plan, Inc., a strategic
planning, training and consulting company.
Johnson, who is the creator of the process, has been professionally
associated with strategic planning for 48 years. At Unilever, he was brand
manager responsible for planning and nationally marketing world famous brands
such as Dove, Lux Toilet Soap, Lifebuoy and Sunlight. After eight years, he was
recruited by Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco where for 20 years he managed
the advertising and marketing activity, on behalf of Foote, Cone & Belding, for
all of Levi’s U.S. apparel brands. Next he served as Chair of a CEO group for
Vistage International, the largest CEO membership organization with more than
12,000 members in 15 countries.
Smith has more than 22 years experience as a consultant, manager and
business owner. Before joining 60 Minute Strategic Plan, she was the co-founder
and president of a Northern California business communications company which
she sold in 2004. The company was on Inc. magazine’s 100 Fastest Growing
Privately Held Companies for two years during her tenure. She is a past
president of several professional organizations in the Sacramento area
including the Society for Technical Communication, American Marketing
Association and the National Association of Women Business Owners.
